I will be using the coat you sent, along with the collar of the first coat to make your sweet Millie bear.
First step is to remove the lining from the coat
To construct the head, I needed to split the pattern so we could use the beautiful long fur from the collar on the head.
Next I will stitch the head all together. Photos to follow when done.
The head has been all stitched together and turned.
Now it’s time to line the rest of the pieces of the bear.
And we are ready to stitch!
Mostly stitched…. just waiting for the foot pad to come back from the embroidery shop.
Next step is to joint and stuff the limbs.
Now to add the head and limbs to the body.
Finally, fill the belly, attach the ears….
And she’s done!

Millie will be so beautiful. With the combined furs it will make it so different, and Jenny and I both contributed. Mom and Grandpa would have been been so happy. Laura thank you for all the work you have put into Millie.

Progress looks awesome. My daughter is going to be so excited especially when she finds out it’s made from her great grandmother’s fur. Can’t wait to get my hands on it.
