I’ve been having so much fun with my latest project!
I’ve been asked to transform this lovely mink stole into three Fur Memory Bears. There is also a small fox stole that they would like to have incorporated into the bears.
The first step was to remove the satin lining….
As they are being created, it often looks like a jumble of arms and legs! I decided to use the lighter colored fur from the fox stole on the top part of each bear’s body.
After all three bears were done, they of course needed to have a portrait session! I love seeing how similar, yet different each bear looks. Since each bear is made by hand, they all turn out a little differently.
